Shipping

Your units delivery time depends on destination country. Under normal circumstances, delivery to your door should be within 30-45 days.

Before finalizing your purchase with Nestron, your sales associate will confirm with you whether you will be assigning your own Forwarder or assign Nestron to assist in the forwarding. Prices may vary depending on the final order confirmation.

Nestron will assign a Forwarding Company with the rates most acceptable to current times and ship your order according to the date with the lowest Forwarding Charges. If let’s say you wish to ship on an exact date with an additional Forwarding Rate, the quotation for the shipping and handling process will be provided from the Forwarder to the client directly, Nestron takes no processing fee from this process. If the client chooses to use the suggested Forwarder’s service, all payment will be done directly from the client to the Forwarding Company.

Before finalizing your purchase with Nestron, your sales associate will confirm with you whether you will be assigning your own Forwarder or assign Nestron to assist in the forwarding. The Forwarding progress you choose may be Door-to-Door or even Port-to-Port. Prices may vary depending on the final order confirmation.

Forwarding insurance is a must-purchase item upon shipping. This is to ensure coverage of any accidents happening during shipment. The insurance purchase will be done with the forwarding.

In-land shipping refers to the part of shipment from site to delivery port and from arrival port to your destination. This is where all the customs clearance and declarations will be handled accordingly.

Unfortunately, this option is not available as no Forwarding Companies will be willing to take the risk. For example, if the Suez Canal accident or Port Congestions were to happen again, the delivery charges will differ drastically.

The assigned Forwarding Company whether by Nestron or by Client will assist you in this progress. There will be SOP and documentation needed which will be assisted and provided by both Nestron and the Forwarder.

Definitely yes! Kindly let your sales assistant know if this is the shipping option you are going for. Our team will be arranging the related shipment accordingly.

If there is damages done during shipment, you may claim the insurance from the vessel provider or the Forwarding Company. Any related process will be done via Forwarding Company and assistance of documentation will be provided by Nestron if needed.

Yes, you are expected to prepare craning and contractor services upon arrival to place your Nestron units on desired land and connect with local water, sewage and electric.

Payments

Nestron payment terms are made 50% upon confirmation of order and 50% once the inspection is approved by the client. Full payment must be made before Nestron release the units to be shipped.

If your purchase is first secured by a 10% booking fee after approval from Nestron management, you are required to pay 40% of the total amount to Nestron before manufacturing starts and the remaining 50% once the inspection is approved by the client.

We understand that some local councils may want you to submit the blueprints/documents from Nestron to get approval if the units can be placed in your area. The 10% booking fee works as payment for you to access these documents from Nestron and our sales and engineering team assisting in any customization needed for you to get the local approval.

  1. Through our online payment, which consists of around 3.5% service charge to be handled by our client. The payment channel will be open once the purchase is confirmed, we will provide you a secure link where you can make payment. Our online payment provider is Stripe.

You will receive an official Pro-forma Invoice from Nestron prior to your payment, the invoice consists of your payment terms and other secured details regarding your payment. Nestron sales associate will update you when payment received. You are advised to keep your transaction slip for future reference. All trade made with Nestron is strictly following the guidelines of Singapore International Trade Law.

The payment is made directly into Nestron bank account to keep the transaction fee to a minimum. We understand that foreign transaction takes up to a few days and currency conversion may put you in a hefty service charge, thus the move to make the purchase payment directly into our bank account. 

If you feel uncomfortable in doing so, we have a 3rd party secured payment service using Stripe, kindly note that there will be a 3.5% service charge for this service.

Nestron has secured a financing aid option available for US clients. If you wish to find out how to get financial assistance, kindly contact your assigned sales representative. For other countries, kindly seek aid from your local financial institution as they are most likely to provide you with a suitable financing solution.

Booking fees can be refunded only if you can prove that the approval of using Nestron units in your local community is rejected by your local council.

You are required to point out which part of the inspection caused the rejection. (eg: lights not working) Nestron team will work to fix the problem and ask for another round of inspection until our clients are satisfied with the end results.



The shipping services are provided by the forwarding company either assigned by Nestron or the client’s own assigned company. To ensure none of Nestron’s employees is not taking extra charges from our clients, Nestron will hand over any quotation and invoices quoted by the forwarding company directly to our client. 

All trade made with Nestron will be listed in the Pro-forma Invoice which also acts as a contract binder between us and our clients. Nestron and our clients are protected under International Trade Laws of Singapore.

Nestron can help to store your units until they are ready for shipment without any extra charges under normal circumstances. If there is other situation such as congestion in warehouse, we will inform you otherwise.

Product

Technically yes, Nestron is able to blend up any color or finishes for our product however the customization must be approved by Nestron management. Any agreed terms in customization must be made through signing our Order Request Form with the sales associate assigned to you by Nestron before proceeding.

Our bigger solar plans are suggested to have enough coverage for daily power consumption including floor heater. However, we cannot guarantee any appliances connected added after-sales will affect the solar power consumption, kindly revise with your local seller before purchase.

We have 2 plans offered for solar system, a bigger and smaller battery version for different client use as some client do not need the bigger battery version.

Nestron units are mainly built with steel. Other construction materials are chosen depending on many factors such as where you will be placing your house or any other customization. The steel in construction has strong resistance against vapor to a certain extend. Our steel goes through galvanizing progress to strengthen the life span and anti-rust feature.

Steel itself is a anti-pest material, thus making Nestron units pest resistant.

We will have version updates for all product lines annually (approximated timeline) or depending on client demands and feedbacks.

This customization is not recommended especially for Cube Series as most of the furniture are built-in due to many curved edges to be found in the design. The customization option is available for request. Yes, Nestron will build the units according to your country’s building code through your assistance in providing the regulations. Our team will assist you in this process of getting the related documents ready.

For certain areas that often face strong winds, weight customization will be needed to enhance the resistance. The customization is available through our sales assistance. Any agreed terms in customization must be made through signing our Order Request Form with the sales associate assigned to you by Nestron before proceeding.

Depending on the model and customizations, our units weight anywhere from 4 tons to 7 tons.

For any heavy customization, a redesign and engineering fee will be charged (approximately USD30,000.00) for your customized plan. The manufacturing fee depends on your customized plan.

As Nestron units are categorized under Tiny Houses, it is not required to have another exit labeled under emergency exit.

Only digital lock, background music player and electric blinds are included in the standard purchase. Any other appliances shown in demo units are add-on options for Nestron units.

Nestron currently does not have an online smart system. Our clients can connect their own Smart Housing assistance such as Alexa or Google. All smart appliances that adapt with your preferred Smart System can be purchased through Nestron or yourself depending on your convenience.

Canny is a soon-to-be Smart System under Nestron. It is still currently in the development stage and we will be releasing more details soon!

Yes you will. The lock has its own battery which consumes power through portable battery packs that you can get in convenient stores. In case of emergency, you can still unlock the digital lock with keys that will be sent to you during shipment.

A flat and stable surface will do. If your land happens to be in places of uneven or soft surfaces (mountain slopes/ sandy beaches) Kindly advise our sales assistance as we can provide you with solution plans.

Nestron offers a floor-heating system as an add-on. This is a built-in system that allows a balance heat distribution throughout your house during Winter.

Currently Nestron offers Solar System and composting toilet as off-the-grid add-ons.

Nestron Units can be connected to any off-grid systems as the piping and electric connections work just like a normal house.

The battery size varies according to the product model/ solar panel model. Kindly contact our sales to get the configuration list.

Warranty can be claimed if the issue is deemed to be a quality issue upon purchase.

Fragile items such as light bulbs, piping hose, water tap etc will have a 2 years warranty.

The structure body itself is granted a 50 years guarantee

Nestron currently is not equipped with any security alert system. But we have this plan in progress as it is something we wish to deliver in the near future. 

We recommend not to do so as the construction is made in a one-piece frame. If you insist on the progress, Nestron is not responsible for any damaged loss. Warranty on the product will be deemed invalid for man-made damages.

If you insist and need to do drilling modification, kindly contact our sales team. Our team will provide you with the plan for you to do so safely.

You can track the progress through our website. You will be given a password for logging in to the tracking system.

As our system is not fully functional at the moment, your sales associate will keep you updated on the progress, you may approach them anytime for the progress and we will show you the progress shots updates.

Due to the pandemic and lockdown, Nestron will be having the inspection process done online. Our team will have a video call with you live for the inspection. You may point out specific areas where you want to check, if there is no faulty parts, you may approve the inspection.

Nestron allows 3rd party inspectors to access your units as well, kindly contact our sales if this service is needed.

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 and travel restrictions, Nestron has closed down our physical showroom until further notice. You may acquire our actual unit photos and videos through our social media handles, website and sales associates.
